The foal muesli for a healthy start!

Foals have a particularly high need for energy and protein. The energy contained in the foal muesli mainly comes from the digested grains and is therefore easy to digest. Soy meal and steamed soybeans provide the supply of essential amino acids such as lysine and methionine, which are used for organ and muscle building. The minerals that the foal muesli contains support the bone structure of the foal.

Because the foal is fully vitaminized, muesli can also be used as a complete concentrate in addition to weaning. Feeding problems that often arise during weaning can be prevented by introducing the foal into muesli at an early stage.

Nutritional advice

From the second week of life until weaning:

• Free admission (only for the foal, not for the mare)

After weaning until the ninth month of life:

• Depending on the development of the foal, up to a maximum of 2 kg/day.

After the ninth month of life, any Höveler muesli is suitable. Do not forget about the sufficient vitamins and minerals that the animal needs.
